The way to a glowing skin

Having beautiful skin begins from what you eat and which nutrients you get in your body. Therefore, good nutrition for a glowing and soft skin starts within your body in the first place.
A diet high in antioxidant rich foods, healthy fats (fish, nuts, avocado etc.), beta-carotene, vitamin C, vitamin E, zinc and selenium can help you obtain a good nutrition for a clear and soft skin. For example, vitamin C is essential for boosting your immune system and for collagen production which makes the capillaries of the skin stronger. Vitamin C can be found mostly in fruits but also in some veggies like broccoli. Selenium is good for your skin because it works in cooperation with vitamin C and E and protects the skin against cancer. The food that is highest in selenium is Brazil nuts. Additionally, omega-3 fatty acids are good for your skin because they protect the skin against inflammation and skin conditions such as eczema. Lastly, good hydration through water and foods like watermelon and cucumber, is essential for having a moisture, clear and healthy skin.
